Farewell to Ms Hand

The staff and students said goodbye to Ms Bernadette Hand in May when she retired after 38 years in Coláiste Eoin, the last 10 as school principal. The occasion was marked during the last week of the school term by a variety of presentations. These included the presentation of an apple tree, which was planted on the school grounds and also one for her own garden. There was also the announcement of the Bernadette Hand perpetual trophy for senior cycle student of the year in recognition for the many students that Ms Hand has influenced and supported over her 38 years in Coláiste Eoin. All the staff and students wish her a long, happy  and well earned retirement.
