Coláiste Eoin is part of the JCSP Library Project. This means that we have a wonderful library, with a full time librarian working there as a support for students and teachers.
Our Library is a centre of learning and development for our students. It is here that reading and writing skills are developed, information skills cultivated and imaginations nurtured. We believe that all our students can achieve success in their education, and so we have put programmes in place which supports them throughout the Junior Cycle and beyond.
Literacy and numeracy are the main focus of our class work in the Library. Using different resources we ensure that these two areas are a common theme across the curriculum
The Library is a hive of activity every day, from 8:15 in the mornings until 5 in the evenings, and sometimes even later. The students have classes in here all day long, and they enjoy this space so much that they also come in before school, after school and at lunchtime too.
