Red weather warning 28/02/18

Coláiste Eoin, in keeping with the directive from the Department of Education and Skills, will remain closed on Thursday 1st March and Friday 2nd March.

The Dept of Education has given the following update due to the red weather warning in place (press release on Wed, 28/02/2018):

Given the disruption to transport and the safety risks arising before blizzard like conditions hit Munster and Leinster, all schools, third level institutions, colleges and centres of further education in red areas will be closed tomorrow and Friday.

The full circular is available here. The school will re-open  at 8:00 am on Monday 5th of March 2018.

Please mind yourselves and take care.

Students should check their email accounts for work forwarded from teachers. Enjoy the snow, stay warm and safe. Be kind to old neighbours see do they need any help with shopping. You could clear the snow away from their doors so they are safe. Don’t forget your pets and to feed the birds. See you all on Monday.
